2 ripe Hass avocados
2 tsp lime juice (freshly squeezed)
2 tbsp cilantro, chopped (fine)
1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
1/2 jalapeño, including seeds (finely diced)
1/4 tsp kosher salt (or to taste)
Instructions
Prepare the Avocados: In a medium bowl, add the avocado flesh and immediately coat with the lime juice.
Mash: Using a potato masher or a large fork, mash the avocados until they reach a smooth consistency with some chunky pieces remaining.
Fold in Aromatics: Add the chopped cilantro, red onion, and jalapeño.
Season: Sprinkle the salt over the mixture and fold everything together gently.
Taste and Adjust: Taste the guacamole. If it needs more "pop," add a pinch more salt or an extra squeeze of lime.
Serve: Serve immediately or cover with plastic wrap pressed directly onto the surface to prevent browning.
