DIY Glass Cleaner That Never Streaks
honestly can't believe how easy it is to make this! I get so excited every time I learn to make something that I am used to buying, and this DIY Glass Cleaner That Never Streaks is a total game changer. It uses simple pantry staples to get a crystal-clear shine without the harsh chemical smell or the leftover residue. Once you see your mirrors stay this clear, you'll never go back to store-bought
- 2 cups Distilled water Distilled is the secret to "never streaks"!
- 1/2 cup White vinegar
- 1/4 cup Rubbing alcohol 70% isopropyl
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch The "pro" ingredient that polishes the glass
- 10 drops Essential oil Lemon or Peppermint works great to mask the vinegar
Mix Liquids: Using a funnel, pour the distilled water, white vinegar, and rubbing alcohol into a 16oz spray bottle.
Add the Polisher: Add the cornstarch. It might seem weird to put a powder in there, but it’s the secret to breaking down the surface tension that causes streaks.
Scent it: Add your essential oils if you’re using them.
Shake: Close the bottle and shake it vigorously.
Cornstarch settles at the bottom, so you’ll want to give it a quick shake every time you use it!
Clean: Spray onto your glass or mirror and wipe with a clean microfiber cloth or a piece of old newspaper.
